Radha Krishna
The painting portrays Radha and Krishna. They meet on a low hillock in a woodland by a riverside. The economy with which the scene is suggested gives the painting charm all its own. The slightly hilly terrain rises from the river and the woodland is suggested by a single tall tree with clusters of sprays entwining it and birds roosting on its foliage.
