Six Lesyas (Verified)
Reverse of folio 37 (३७),
In this painting, Lesyas are personified as human beings picking up a fruit from a tree or cutting its branches with an axe. Each is given a colour of the complexion and those are Krsna (black), Nila (blue), Kapota (grey), Teju (red), Padma (translated both yellow and saDisplayron), Sukla (white). It is significant that human characteristic is attached to each colour, known as Laksana, thus, colour also serves as a symbol linked with a human action.
