Shiva and Parvati with a female attendant
Shiva and Parvati with a female attendant. It is surely one of the finest masterpieces of the early Mandi school. Rarely has any Mandi painter raisen to such heights of controlled emotion so beautifully expressed in praise of the ever wanderinng god and his uncomplaining, faithful spouse who follows her lord all over the mountain paths of the mighty Himalayas.
