Kalakacharya preaching to the king Satavahana and Jain Sangha concerning Paryushana
Kalakacharya during his travels reached Pratishthana in Maharashtra, where he preached to King Satavahana and the Jains Sangha concerning the celebration of Paryushana. Among the Jaina canonical literature this episode is given much significance because upon his approval the ritual was perdormed on the fourth day of the bright half of the month of Bhadrapada.
