these are the fourteen symbolic objects appear in the dream, to both the mothers of Mahavira (Devananda and Trishala), when they conceived the life in their womb. In Jainism mothers having the vision of the fourteen dreams constitutes the first of the Kalyanakas (auspicious events) of a Tirthankars’s spiritual journey.
