Darbar of Ajit Singh of Ghanerao
Ajit Singh wearing a red jama, yellow Kamarband,jewellary and a greenish turban, sits on a silver throne facing left. He is attended by two male attendants, one of whom holds a morchhal while the other a shield and a sword. Nine noblemen including some children sit in a semi circle on white floor facing the Raja. They wear a variety of turbans representative of their clan, long jamas and spart shields and swords. The picture was term in two parts when purchased this was subsequently joined together and mounted three fragmentary inscriptions on reverse give names of persons shown in the picture.
