Buddha in bhumisparsa mudra
Seated Buddha hold a bowl in his hands and has a decorative Prabha at the back; double Lotus pedestal./Tibetan 18th century bronze of a considerably large size, is quite unique which represents Buddha in meditation as he received enlightenment with his hand in bhumisparsha mudra. The stylized decorative motif at the back which appears as a mandorla, i.e., effulgence emanating from Buddha's body, also serves as the Bodhi tree.
