Publication is an integral part of research, and the LD Institute of Indology actively pursues publication activities. The earliest was Saptapadarthi, with a commentary, published in Sanskrit, in 1963. The Institution has to its credit 154 research publications, in Sanskrit, Gujarati, Hindi and English. Some of them like Treasures of Jaina Bhandars, Ramayana in Pahari Miniature Paintings, and Aspects of Jain Art and Architecture are widely acclaimed.

The Institute has been publishing a research journal since 1970, called SAMBODHI, which is devoted to publishing papers on research in the area of Indology. This journal publishes the research papers of the scholars working in the Institute and invites contributory research articles from eminent scholars of the country and abroad. The articles are published in English, Gujarati and Hindi. Sometimes unpublished short articles are also published. 35 volumes of ‘Sambodhi’ have been published so far.
