Equestrian portait of Raja Man Singh of Kulu
This folio depicts the equestrian portait of Raja Man Singh of kulu. This is surely one of the finest equestrian portraits in the entire range of Indian Miniature painting. The horse with its arched neck, narrow head and broad quarters is borrowed from Mughal Akbari period painting. Though equestrian portraits are very common in Rajasthani painting, but they are rare in Pahari painting.
