A set of five (5) paintings from an illustrated manuscript (of an undefined subject) Rajasthani/ Deccani ca.1680-1700 A.D. The manuscript may belong either to Amber or Aurangabad of a dated suggested above.A young Prince on a Throne attended by female attendants: The scene is laid in a garden with flowering trees behind and a stylized Flower bed in front. young Prince weaving a plumed Turban, silver tunic and pink Jama in seated on a silver set leaving against the bolster. A temple attendant wearing a Mughal cap silver tunic, Dupatta etc. in holding a Chatra, umbrella, on the prince’s head while the other wearing a ghagra, choli and silver Dupatta stands in front of with offerings. Green ground with blue strip representing sky on a top two lines of a Devanagari inscription above with two birds. Right edge damaged, over all condition not very satisfactory.
