Folio from the Manuscript of Sikandar Namah
It depict s a King in horizontal position. There are other folios with royal figure in similar reclining position, one of which depicts Sikandar having fallen sick. Another painting illustrates him on his sick bed attended by a female. We preseume the NCM 7 also depicts the Emperors death. another royal posture is perhanps mourning, indicated by his gesture on a closed observation it is possible to read the configuration of the rectangular structure as a coDisplayin in which the Emperor of pots placed one abouve the other near the dead person's head, may have a symbolic meaning.
