Raj Shing
It is a portrait of Raja Prakash Chand of Guler with a lady and attendants. He was fond of having his portraits painted and a number of them exist. In this painting, Raja wears a white jama and mauve turban. The lady wears an orange dress, with striped odhni and attendants dressed in orange and green respectively. The white foreground and white flowered carpet, with mauve and green bolsters and cushions, againt the yellow background, increase the elegance of the painting.
