Ramayana
On top of folio 127, the inscription refers to the fauj (army) with the numerical of 100 attached to it. The inscription in the centre of folio 128 also mentions fauj along with the numerical 100. The inscription further mentions Lava, thus, in the middle of the composition, the young character encircled by the huge army is to be understood as Lava. The adversary opposite to him is labeled as Rudharaksa. Therefore, it seems that this folio does not represents Rāma’a army. What transpired in this focal point of the composition is clear when we read together the inscribed text on top left and that in the centre. The character Rudrakha is the maternal uncle of Lavanasura (here it is spelled, Lavanasvara).
