Ladies playing a game
This painting represects the scene of Royal ladies playing a game and amusing themselves. Five women are arranged in a group and one immediate guess is that they are playing the game popularly known "blind man's buDisplay" or ''guess who?". One woman's eye is covered by the hand of another woman, who holds her from her back. The woman who is blind-folded is apparently surprise and has to guess who is behind her. She does so by reaching her arms out to surmise the identity of the person perhaps by touching her. The intruder must be a familier person that is how she could be recognized by touch. There are three other women, who are participating in the fun.
