Overjoyed with the advent of rain showers, the Nāyikā in the company of her companions exclaims, “Look there, clouds have come into sight. Having beckoned the dark clouds, the sky resounds with thunder with flashes of lightening. Amidst the cries of the peacocks, the rain is expressing itself.”
