Kashmiri Tantrik Goddesses
Goddess Kamala 'The Lotus One'
She is in the form of Gajalaksmi, is the last goddess in the Tantric pantheon of Mahavidyas. She is anointed by two elephants with water from vessels held in their trunks. She is seated on a full blown lotus emerging from the lake. She holds two lotuses in her hands, while the other two make the gestures of beneficence and dispelling fear. Her yantra is similar to the yantra of Bala Tripurasundari (NCM 158 a). The similarity between the two yantras shows that she is identified with the fullness of auspiciousness.
